Mona is a creature that came out of physical therapy exercises performed in the woods. The piece started while at home recovering from a leg injury. It expanded when I returned to the studio and made a series of drawings and collages relating the experience. These pieces began my interest in isolating the legs and feet as a point of contact with the ground, while letting the upper body abstract and disappear. Digital print. 50 x 62 inches.
