Stool Study is an attempt to come close to an object (stool) in terms of its qualities, its presence and its potential. An analysis of the stool’s form led to its void, which took on an objecthood of itself in 66 iterations. The stool is a tool for physical support. The stool-empties or stool-fulls (filled stool voids) represent variations on kinds of support. Together they create a support kit or support group - the inverse of the stool serving its same function, but immaterial, and multiplied. Forms and qualities from Stool Study are expanded on in Kelifos, where more objects are introduced.
